EGYPT VFW HOME OF THE TOMCAT

I went to see The Honey Buzzards play at The Egypt VFW 7293 Home Of The Tomcats, on Saturday June 27th. This was my first time there, and I was pleasantly surprised.

The VFW has an open area of land behind their building, where they have the training Tomcat plane for Top Gun pilots from Nevada, plus the bomb, and inside there is even a showcase area of artifacts.

The upstairs area has a nice bar area for drinks and food, pool table area in a large cubby hole area, which is cleared out for when they have bands inside.
The outside has a good sized pavilion area, with a spacious dance floor, picnic table styled seating, and outdoor bar with lights around it.

The outdoor area reminds me of the Coplay Saengerbund, which I have been too many times, but I think the VFW has a larger space for dancers. Because there had been some rain, they covered the areas with clear plastic so the rain would not get into the pavillion. I would highly recommend it!
