This has been a busy weekend with a double shot of The 90's band favorites The Honey Buzzards at The Steel Pub On Friday June 26th, and The Egypt VFW 7293 Home of The Tomcat on Saturday June 27th.
I have never been to The Egypt VFW, and not seen The Honey Buzzards in several years, so this was a win-win situation!
Now, back to the Buzzards! Founding member Chris Barczynski, better known to fans as "Breeze", was accompanied by the current band members: Scott Siska on Bass/Vocals,John Bloys-Guitar/Vocals, and Tom "Baz" on drums.
The guys were kicking out cover tune fan favorites,including the crowd pleaser songs like "Two Tickets To Paradise, " Radioactive" and "Jenny Jenny". I was happy to hear the band play one of my favorite STP songs- Vasoline, and they even did a short medley segueing Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" into Sabbath's " War Pigs",back into the ending of "Whole Lotta Love".
All in all it was a great night to see the band, and enjoy some beautiful summer weather too!
