STEVE BROSKY: ALMOST

STEVE BROSKY is a well known true legend, and more, from the Lehigh Valley. I can't say enough about Steve's musical history. He started his first recordings in 1980 and has never stopped since then.

He recorded his well known song, DO THE DUTCH, in 1983 which had some airplay. He recorded numerous albums over the years, and played with many well known musicians in the area. He worked with many 'name' people throughout the year and also, quite a few producers.

He had several bands he formed over the years like: The Steve Brosky Band, Steve Brosky n' The Buix, and Steve Brosky and The BBC.The players on this new release are: STEVE BROSKY-Guitar, vocals; and JOSH KLEIN played all the other instruments except for the cello on "My Better Half'.

This 6 song E.P was Produced by Steve Brosky and Josh Klein. ALMOST kicks off the CD which reminds me of a song that Rod Stewart could be singing. There is no doubt, Steve's vocals are always very distinctive.

I WANNA BE IRISH brings quite a different feel from Steve into this song. The song definitely has a very true authentic Irish music feel, which I find quite interesting.

I must admit, this song is quite a gem and more. He definitely has out done himself on this song. Great job! MY BETTER HALF is about his wife and what she means to him. The words are sung from his heart and how blessed he is to have her. This song is very heartwarming.

SOUTHSIDE brings an end to this CD. This song is super as Steve once again tells his story about going downtown to hit the bars and pubs in the area. This song is superb and fits the area well. This is a must hear song to hear.
I want to THANK STEVE BROSKY for being in touch with me after all these years. You can find Steve Brosky on: Facebook, Deezer, Spotify, You tube, iHeartRadio, Pandora and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE]
