ZACHARY YOUNG: JOBI

ZACHARY YOUNG aka JOB is a one man musician that hails from Pueblo, Colorado. He plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and does all the vocals on his music. He has done all the mixing, editing, and mastering on all his music, and is also in a one man band called Meter.

MOTHER MOON starts off this review with METER playing acoustic guitar as he expresses himself the best way he can. The song is rather long, as you try to make out his vocals as he is expressing himself to you.
He definitely takes an acquired taste to listen to.

LUNAR OCULAR BLUES is far from a blues song in the intro as he talks and rambles on during the intro. This music would make Frank Zappa and Captain Beefhart wonder, what do they miss along the way. Definitely, very interesting, but out there.

FREEK 'N' YOU cannot be the same person as the music is funky and soulful with all the making of a great, super song. This song is super great with so much heart and soul. I love it.

SHEEPDOG starts out like a horror movie soundtrack as you're sitting at the edge of your seat. Then the music comes in playing two chords as his vocals sing between the off beats. This is another long song as the beats and tone of the song changes throughout the song. There is no doubt, he owns his own zone when it comes down to his music.

DIVINE PUNISHMENT reminds me if being at a seance has his tone of voice is very deep as the music changes with guitar chords flying away as it seems he is preaching to you. This song once again goes through many levels as you listen to it.

BRONZE AGE HYSTERIA is almost like a punk song as he is screaming at you to get his point across. He considers his music as something grimy, meditative and beautiful simultaneously. Check him out for yourself. I'd like to THANK ZACHARY for being in touch with me. You can find his music on You tube, Facebook, Spotify, Instagram and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE]
