WE ARE OVERLAP is a collaboration of Richard Schooping and Rob Sidebottom. Richard hails from Charlotte, North Carolina and he met Rob over the internet.
Rob hails from Glasgow, Kentucky. They both have very similar interests about love, compassion and harmony and exchange. Richard plays guitar and piano and does all the vocals as Ron does the arranging and lyrics to songs. They both have been through alot of the years such as a stroke, Aids and Depression and are real warriors in today's world.
This 10 song CD was Produced and Mixed by Rob Schooping. THE VAGABOND SONG starts off this CD with a great rhythm as it seems to turn into a 'spoken word' song. The harmonies are quite interesting, which is Richard overdubbing himself. Check it out.
IRIS DEAN is a rock song as Richard seems to do some cool rapping. The beat is right on and the lyrics seem to be quite interesting. FINDING MY OWN WAY has nice piano parts as Rob seems to hope to find the love of his life and he's in search of himself.
BLUEGRASS BOURBON you would think would be a bluegrass song, but it's not even close. This song is quite interesting, nevertheless I'M NOT A FREAK TO ME is a pretty cool song as it shows what they might think of themselves in real life. I must admit, this CD is quite interesting to say the least.
