THE LINDA BRADY REVIVAL: DEEP BRAIN STIMULATOR

LINDA BRADY has a quite amazing story that needs to be told. She released an album 25 years ago and titled, HI-FI, on a cool indie label and then left the music business. The reason why is because something tragic happened to her.

She was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, but quickly bounced back from that. She later was told by her doctors to start checking things off her bucket list after she formed a new powerful Revival band with all the goods.

She had a new deep brain stimulator implanted in her and was self driven to make this album. The band on this album is: Linda Brady-Guitars, lead and backing vocals, hand clapping; Jeff Murphy- Vocals, guitar, bass, calvinet, cowbell, organ, timpani; Greg Speier-Lead guitar, backing vocals; Robert Fisher- keyboards, backing vocals; Rob Mendenhall-Bass, Sydney Vaughn-Violin; David Parker-Handclaps, tambourine and Kenny Aronoff/P J Mulsteff- Drums.

This 12 song album was Produced by Linda Brady, Andrew Eade, Jeff Murphy and Engineered by Andrew Eade, Mixed by Jeff Murphy, Andrew Eade, Nikola Sunajko and Mastered by Daniel Szanto.

SHUT YOU kicks off the album with a super great melody and some very impressive guitar playing. The lyrics and melody is one of those everlasting songs that will grab you right from the start.

WOW! Very impressive. YES MAN has some very powerful lyrics which I'm sure many of us relate to. This is quite a statement song and the lyrics can't be better said. Check it out. 1987 DICTIONARY is a great popish song with a tale all about her dictionary and how she uses it and the colors of it.

I really like the humor in this song. I love it. The guitar work is another highlight in this song. So sweet. IT'S A GOOD DAY features Jeff Murphy . This song has a sweet video that shows the lyrics as you can sing along if you'd like.

I must admit, I love her popish melodies that really stand as her lyrics fit her well in every song. Sweet. CRASH is a bit laid back type of song as the pace is steady and solid on every note. Get into the groove on this song as it will surely get to you. So, so nice.

SAME WOLF features Jeff Murphy bringing this amazing album to an end with another great song by Linda and the band. I love the '80's rock feel to this song as the melody and lyrics are very, very strong once again. What an epic album. I'd like to THANK LINDA for being in touch with me. You can find her and the band at: You tube, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
