This 10 song album was Engineered by Joe Adragna, Scott McCaughey, Michael Giblin and Paul Freeman and Mixed by Tom Stern and Mastered by Kurt Bloch. TWO WAYS TO GO kicks off this album with a very cool melody and great lyrics. I love the feel of this song as it seems to have a bit of an early pop 80's feel. This song can easily get in your head. Very sweet.
THE WHISKEY TALKING has a great guitar tone that has a REM's tone with the raw like sound. The song has a very strong melody and lyrics once again. The harmonies are great on this song, too. Check it out. WHEN I GOT HOME is a lay back song as the melody just flows along as the lyrics tell the story of true love, if someone really cared about you and made an effort to show it. I like this song a lot.
WHEN THE QUESTIONS COME has one very solid beat throughout the song as the vocals are as strong as ever. The melody once again is very good as the lyrics state it all. I must admit, it reminds me a bit of the Everly Brothers if they would be playing these days. WOW! Is all I can say!
THIS CONCLUDES OUR BROADCAST DAY brings an end to an epic album with a sweet melody and lyrics that sound a lot like C,S,N & Y with lyrics that shine in this song. The harmonies are quite a gem on this album as the music stands timeless. Very, very impressive. I'd like to THANK JOE for being in touch. You can find him and the band at: Bandcamp.
