THE FLOATING MEN is a 7 piece band based out of Nashville, TN. This is quite a unique band, to say the least. The band members are: JEFF HOLMES-Vocals, acoustic guitar; CHRIS COTTROS-Electric guitar; DAVID STEELE-Electric guitar; JODY NARDONE-Keyboards; SCOT EVANS-Bass, vocals harmonies, ANDRA MORAN-Background vocals and STEVE EBE-Drums.

This 12 song CD was Produced and Engineered by Ric 'Skippy' Major and Mastered by Alex McCollough. THE HAUNTING kicks off this CD with a great melody and lyrics.The song definitely has a Steely Dan feel, which is quite cool to hear.

GEORGIA has a whole different feel with a sweet, soulful sound that will, definitely, get to you. Check it out. DARK AND COOL reminds me of a very soulful Billy Joel pouring his heart out to you. This song is quite a gem.

CRONIES brings a whole new flavor to the band as it reminds you of an old haunting movie with the vocals a sweet highlight to this song. The band sounds a lot like Tom Waits,I love it. LONG WINDING PRAYER has a '60's favor with the keyboards as a highlight to the song. I must admit, it's been awhile since I heard anything like this. This song is great!

THE VANISHING MAN brings this amazing CD to an end with some quite impressive lead guitar solos.This whole CD is totally flawless and each song stands out on its own.
