SPTW is a two member band that hails from France. Their meaning of SPTW stands for Some Pretend To Whisper, which is quite interesting. The band members are: PERKIN WARBEK [FKA aaron 3000 [beats] and STAKHA [Vocals + beats]. They consider their music as hip hop beats with a jazz fusion with surreal lyrics and relentless flows.
They have released three albums together and one EP. Their Mahorka net label hopes to inspire new shapes to come in the music business. The 12 album was Composed and Produced by SPTW.
INTRO ACT kicks off the album with some amazing music that you would not expect at all. The music is a chorus that is a bit haunting, but yet you will be attracted to it. Very, very impressive. YEAH YEAH THE BIRDS has a great intro as it seems someone is speaking in a New York or Jersey accent as it drifts into steady beats with a repeating melody throughout the song.
Interesting. BACKWARDS INTO NOTHINGNESS seems like a repeated melody once again throughout the song. Welcome to La La land! GIUL SE LEVE is definitely quite a different song as the sounds were put in an echo chamber with a hammer sound throughout the song to feel the beat. Check it out.
CAROL'S CLOUDS is truly a different song, if you can call it that. This song will surely grab your attention but you must listen closely. Will you get the message? SOME CHERRIES seems like you just walked into a haunted house and the spirits are after your soul.
Are you sure you want to go on that trip? AN ODE TO YOU is quite interesting as it seems a clock is ticking away as the sounds slowly sneak in and want to carry away to who knows where.
