SMOOTH RETSINA GLOW is a four piece band that hails from Bethlehem, Pa. I must admit, this is quite an interesting band which has 'their own sound' which is nice to hear. The Band members are: COLIN WOLF- Vocals,:Guitars, Bass, Keyboards, Mandolin: SARAH STOLL-Vocals; JACOB WOLFE-Bass and BRIAN DERCKAS-Drums.
 
This 10 song CD was Produced by Colin Wolf and Engineered by Matt Mulchany and Chris Aquayo. TURN TO HUBRIS starts out with this CD which reminds me a bit of the garage bands from the '60's.The melody is quite nice as it floods at a nice beat and stays in your head. Check it out. BOUND BY DESIRE is great with a super funky feel that has a great bass riff throughout the song. This song is quite impressive, to say the least. Get your groove on for this one, it's sweet.
 
BACKSLIDING brings another dimension to the band which is quite spacey as they take you on their own journey. This is a nice surprise to hear. SHE WON'T BE HOME shows off Sarah Stoll vocals which has a bit of jazzy favor to it. This song is another highlight from the band showing that they can play any type of music at all.
 
GEMINI REIGN brings this CD to an end. Crank this song up because it will make your head spin. This song has a metal feel with a bit of space punk added to it. I see a lot of great things coming to this band once they get 'known'.
