SCHWERTMANN is Bart Schwertmann the lead singer, bassist and guitarist for the band, KAYAK. At the age of 17 he was writing, singing and playing bass in his very first band called Galaxy.
In 2000 he won a singing competition which gave Bart some national fame. Bart released a few singles and then started on his first solo album, Theater of Grief.

PANIC MODE is quite interesting as you hear the phone and someone answers the phone. The guitar riff is quite a treat and as solid as a rock. BURNING DOWN is pure hard rock in your face that reminds me of Deep Purple/ Iron Maiden that is the epitome of his soul.
SUPERNATURAL FORCES has a Vincent Price intro that has the guitars seek up in you and sucks you right in. You'll love this one! RAINBOW slows the tempo down and has great lyrics as he slows things down and sings from his heart. This song is a MUST to hear.
NO ONE ELSE CAN has another great intro and melody that will get your attention. A true love song. I highly recommend checking this CD out.
