RON RAMSEY JR hails from Owenboro, Kentucky and he recorded quite a few full length albums. He has played in the infamous Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville.He has, also, played with the legendary cover band, Exit 4. In this album, as several others, he played bass, guitar, drums and did all vocals. He has also, Recorded, Mixed and Mastered his music in his home studio.
THE LIFE IN TIME album starts off with a song titled, UPSIDE in which he sounds like an '80's rock band, which is interesting. The melody is pretty cool as his guitar playing is solid and straight. HEAVEN RIGHT NOW is quite interesting as he has another cool guitar riff. This melody is supercool, too.
SOUL ON FIRE has all the making of a 'hit song' that hooks are placed at all the right places in this song. I must admit, I like this one a lot. Check it out. LIFE IN TIME has a different guitar riff which is pretty cool as the chorus is bound to get in your head.
MAGIC AND THE MYSTERY is his latest release in which this song will get in your head. I, definitely, find this song quite interesting with the harmonica playing in the background, which is supercool.
