RIGHT ON WARRIORS is a five piece metal punk band that hails from Pittsburgh, Pa. The band members are: JIM PAYNE-Lead vocals, guitar; CHRIS SICHOK-Backing vocals, guitar; MATT NEFT-Lead guitar; MONICA PAYNE-Bass guitar and JOHN WALKER-Drums.
This 12 CD was Produced by Right On Warriors and Recorded and Mixed at Mr. Smalls and Mastered by Larry Luther. NOTHING'S COOL WITH ME kicks off this CD with a riff that reminds me a bit of Billy's Idol's Dancing By Myself with just a few different chords added, but it's not a band song.
MARY IN THE BED sounds great and I find it amazing how their vocals have a Beach Boys tone to it. I find that a pretty good thing. Check it out. BURN INTO THE NIGHT is a cool, fast paced song that has a great punkish feel.I must admit, it does have a commercial feel to this song, which is quite nice.
FRIDAY NIGHT has a very familiar melody to it, but it's definitely a good fun song. The bridge is quite a great change in the song. Listening to the lyrics ISLAND reminds me of Weezer on steroids with a bit of distortion thrown into the mix. This song is pretty cool.
ST. NOBODY is a bit off the wall as the vocals sound off key as the band is having a great old time doing this song. I must admit, I like this band because you can tell they have a sense of humor which is quite cool.
