RICH MURRAY is a traveler and you never know where he might show up next. His music speaks for himself and the EP that he has released is quite a gem. The band is: RICH MURRAY-Lead vocals, acoustic and bass guitar; TROYE KINNETT-Accordion; TIGAR BELL-Fiddle and banjo; BILL KIRCHEN-Lead guitar; JACK FIELDS-Harmony Vox and DANE CLARK-Drums.
This EP was Produced by Rich Murray and Dane Clark. WHITE FRIGHTMAN BLUES starts out this CD with a song by Townes Van Zandt and he sure does an excellent version of it. I must admit, it sounds like Leon Russell.
WOW! I'm very impressed to say the least. This song could have been on the Hank's Back album easily. WOW! Is all I can say. I'M GONE [RAISIN' HILLBILLY HELL] is another decent song by Rich and his band. The harmonica is really quite a treat to hear. This is good old Southern rock as it should be played.
Check it out DOWN THE ROAD [ARE WE THERE YET?] is another gem as you can hear Rich sing this song from his heart. The melody is as great as the lyrics tell a great story. I must admit, he and his band have done an outstanding job on this EP. Great job by all. I want to THANK RICH MURRAY for being in touch. You can find find Rich Murray on: You tube, Deezer, Facebook, Pandora, Apple Music and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
