JOHN KEANE has quite an amazing musical history. John and his brother, Tom, made a few albums during the '70's and even had their own tv show called, The Keane Brothers Show. The show aired for four weeks on CBS in 1977.
John went onto compose music for The Amazing Race, CSI and The Sentinel. This 12 song 1999 release is quite a gem. The CD was Mixed by Wyn Davis and mastered by Stephen Marsh. STRAIGHT WAY kicks off this CD and you'll, definitely, be thinking you're listening to a Todd Rundgren album, which says alot. I think that makes a statement in itself. WE LOVE OUR FANTASIES is a cool rocker that has a great melody and superb effects in the song This song has the feel of In Another Land by the Stones.
SHE CANNOT BE DENIED is a song that can be driven into your head within no time. I think it has a TOTO taste to it. HEADLINES AND DEADLINES is a sweet song with great harmonies that you'll fall in love with after the first few notes and amazing melody. SINCE I MET YOU has reflections of Christopher Cross' song with a sweet flow and another sweet melody. MORE ends this incredible CD which reminds me of Genesis with Peter Gabriel on vocals.
