DON'T THROW YOUR LOVE AWAY kicks off this album with an excellent, solid beat as the vocals are strong as ever with their harmonies. I must admit, they seem to have a spacey Police sound to them. Very interesting. EVERYTHING IT TAKES TO BE HAPPY has the '80's feel to the song as the guitar riff is straight on and solid in everway. Gary Myrick would fit well in the song. Turn it up and enjoy the ride. So sweet.
PLEASE DON'T DO THAT has a cool guitar riff once that again that could get you up dancing. There is a dose of a funk beat in this song too. Listen closely. So sweet. HARD TO SAY GOODBYE has a reggae rock beat that will really have you groovin' too as the band is as tight as ever. The 80's feel is still there as the band is as tight as ever. Check this song out. SIROCCO is a drum solo that Michael has shown all his wears for all to be heard. I must admit, this solo is quite epic and very, very impressive, to say the least. Close to 3 minutes of pure pleasure and more. This is a must to hear. WOW!
WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING WITH YOU has a super cool guitar riff that will stay in your head for a long time and the guitar solo will blow you away. Reminds me a bit of The Producers. AND I LOVE HER is their version of The Beatles song and they, definitely, make it their song. They have their own groove and vibe in this song and it's quite superb from start to finish. Definitely, a MUST to hear. I'd like to Thank Stephen for being in touch. You can find the band at: Bandcamp, Pandora, Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
