NICHLOE WAGNER: PLASTIC FLOWERS

NICHOLE WAGNER is an Austin, Texas singer/guitarist that is making quite a name for herself in the music business. Her voice is quite distinctive and once you hear her sing you'll understand why.

She is considered to be an American dream rock guitarist as her acoustic guitar playing is a true joy to hear. Her voice is a true treat to the ears as making you want to hear more of her song.

The backing up musicians playing in this album are numerous to mention, but each one of them should be recognized as they make her album complete. [Justin Douglas-Guitar, Abram Shook; Geena Sprigareli-Bass; Charlie Pierce-Keys; Matthew Shepard/ Gregg Clifford-Drums; Jana Horn,Andrea Young, just to name a few]

This 10 song album was Produced, Recorded and Engineered by Justin Douglas,Assistant Engineers Schivona Johnson, Jackie Goff and Mastered by Andre Casto. MONSTERS kicks off this album with some of the best lyrics I have heard in a long time. The song is very uptempo as the melody flows perfectly.

Listen close, you might be able to relate to this song. EVERYTHING reminds of a song that Janis Ian could be singing as the lyrics would fit her well. I must admit, her lyrics and melody are right on in every song and that doesn't happen often. Check it out.

PLASTIC FLOWERS has a bit of a country music favor as the song is laid back as her lyrics are superb only again. The melody has a C,S,N & Y feel as the beat is solid and steady which is perfect in this song. WOW! Is all I can say. A WAY WITH IT takes a whole new different spin as the organ is highlighted in this song and the melody is as sweet as ever.

Nichole's voice is quite a stand out in all of her songs and the harmonies are spot on. THE ROAD THAT JIM BUILT brings an end to this magnificent album. I love the sweet guitar picking in this song. The song reminds me a bit of a Peter, Paul and Mary song as she strums away.

This is quite an epic song to end an amazing album. The album is flawless and deserves a lot of attention. Nichloe's vocals are hard to compare to anyone else I heard. You can find her at: Bandcamp, You tube, iHeartRadio, Pandora and other sites. ROCK ON , JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.] .
