NEAL FOX is far from your ordinary musician and his music speaks for itself. Neal plays keyboards, guitar, synths ranging from pop to jazz and every type of music you could think of. In 1970, he was signed to Ploydor's Event label, RCA and Columbia Records.
Neal composed music for Coke, Sea World, CBS News with Dan Rather, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung and co-scores for the Killer Tomatoes franchise. He released over a dozen CD's on his label, Wire Duck Records and has several award winning video's and short films and the list goes on and on.
I would have to say, not bad for a guy that hails from Brooklyn, N.Y wouldn't you say! I decided to pick random songs from all of his releases, but they are all quite gems to be heard by everyone.
I'll start off with a song from his NOW IT'S PERSONAL album titled, A ZERO WITH A GUN that speaks the truth about kids bringing a gun into the schools and how he never fit into anything, as he was bullied and more. This song is making a statement that needs to be heard. Please check this song out.
SHEEP is a song you must listen close to as he sings it at full speed, as he makes a point to get the message to you. The title states it all. I love it. SONGS FOR A NEW REVOLUTION starts out great with a song titled, TAKE OUT THE TRASH. has a bit of a Randy Neuman touch to it. This song is quite a gem, but listen close to the lyrics and you'll get the message loud and clear. Yes, we have a lot of trash.
ON THE BACKS OF A FEW is dedicated to all the military people that fight for our peace and freedom everyday. There is no doubt, this song should be heard to all the military people that have been or are fighting now. Epic song. The PIGEONHOLES album features a song titled, THE ANTIDEPRESSANT SONG which has a cool funk beat and lyrics you'll surely relate to in one way or another as he tells his story about the music biz and more.. I love it, get down and get funky. Check it out.
