This is quite an interesting four piece band that hails from State College, Pa. The band is a pure mixture of blues, country, folk and soul. The band members are: ANNA PEARL BELINDA-Vocals; SAM CHRISTENSEN-Guitar, vocals; SEAN HEFFERNAN-Guitar and SAM MILZ-Guitar, vocals.
Their sound is a mixture of everyone's taste and influence combined into one. They. also, have some special local guests that played on their 9 song original album who are fiddle player, Dan Collins and drummer, Rich Stever. Their CD was recorded at the home of music veteran, Andy Toilns.
EVERYTHING I DO [IS FOR YOU] starts off this CD with quite amazing, strong vocals which is quite a stand-out. The band is laid back as they interlude with her vocals throughout the song. Great way to start off a CD.
GOING OUT WEST is a great uptempo song that will get to after the very first note. Also, Anna's vocal range is quite amazing, to say the least. Give this song a listen and you'll surely be carried away within minutes.
ROAD TO LONESOME [Reprise] is a real treat with its fast paced tempo and great harmonies. The lead guitar work is so, so sweet to hear in this song. This song is a must to hear.
SILENT BELLS is quite a simple, laid back song that will, definitely, hold your attention. Amazing how you can hold onto those one notes forever and make it sound so great.
