MATT LANGONE AND THE BIG HEAT: OUT OF THE PAST

MATT LANGONE AND THE BIG HEAT is a rockin' five piece band that hails from New York City.Once you get a taste of this band, I'm sure you'll want more. Their raunchy, raw type of sound is quite a treat.

The band is: MATT LANGONE-Guitars, vocals; ERIC 'ROSCOE' AMBEL-Guitars, vocals; KENNY MARGOLIS-Keys; SCOTT KITCHEN-Bass; MARK BROTTER-Drums. This 10-song CD was produced and mixed by Eric 'Roscoe' Ambel and mastered by Richard Dodd.

BIG CLOCK starts off this CD with a great guitar intro as the beat is straight and solid. The melody might sound a bit familiar, but it's still a very strong song.Check it out. SHADOW OF A DOUBT has a George Thorogood feel to it which is straight up rock and roll with a bluey feel. This one is great , so check it out and crank it up.

JUDGEMENT DAY is pure blues with a real soulful feel that you're bound to love. Check out the lyrics to this song. I love this one. I AIN'T THE ONE is quite different as the melody has a different feel. I think it has a bit of a Springsteen flavor with the keys being a real highlight to the song. This song is great.

OUT OF THE PAST brings this CD to an end with an old-time rock and roll feel. This song would make Jerry Lee Lewis proud. This is how pure rock and roll should be played. Check out this band.
