LOVECANDY is a 4 piece rock/pop band that hails from Indianapolis, In. Once you get a taste of this band, you'll want much more of them, no doubt in my mind. The band is: JIM GALLOWAY: Vocals, guitars, keyboards: KELLY J. MIX: Vocals, Guitars, Bass: PHILIP BUNNY: Vocals, guitar and Stephen Bunny: Vocals, Drums, percussion. The 2000 11 song CD was produced by Love Candy. NOTHING MATTERS starts off this CD with epic harmonies that will have chills running your arm. The musicianship among them stands out in every way thinkable. Turn it up LOUD! MCBEAVEE has a real XTC meets The Beatles favor that is quite amazing and listen closely to this song. You'll love this song. DIRTY CIRCUS has the strong bass lines in your face from the first beat. They drive this song into your head with their strong reflections on every level. The wah wah guitar part was nice to hear, too. INSIGNIFICANT should have been a TOP 10 by all means. You could swear you're listening to The Beatles on this one. This song could have been on The Sgt. Pepper's album and no one would have noticed the difference. A MUST TO HEAR. SHE is a remake of The Monkee's song that will have you singing along. They really do justice to this song, too. SO FAR AWAY has an amazing melody and harmonies once again are as strong again. The melody does have a bit of a Beatles touch to it.
