LOST ART is a band based out of South Jersey and is noted for their original music and amazing songs and melodies. The band is: ALEX PEPIAK-Guitar, vocals; SUE PEPIAK-Bass, vocals and BRYAN COOPER-Percussion, and at various times when they play a gig numerous artists show up to jam with them. This 17 track CD was Recorded by Jim Welsh and Mixed by Josh Mayer.
This CD was recorded 'live' which is quite enjoyable to hear. NOTHING TO LOSE starts off the CD has quite a catchy melody and amazing lyrics, so listen closely. RIDING IN JACK KEROUAC'S CAR has a sweet uptempo riff and questions, 'Who you are'? I must admit, it's great to hear as Alex introduces the band on this CD.
LEAD FOOT SUE is a great rock song with the band pounding away at you which will surely get your attention fast. Crank it up! NEVER LEAVE THIS TOWN is about people that live in the town and the jobs they have to do to make a living. I must admit, it has a punk rock feel to it. Check it out.
NEVER WROTE A LOVE SONG is about an anti-love song. The lyrics are quite a thrill and may even give you a bit of a laugh. This one is great. RUNNING FROM THE PAST has another great melody with a great rock and roll favor.
You definitely need to listen closely to the lyrics. COLD brings this CD to an end as he sings about the love of his life. The lyrics are truly incredible.
