JOHN PEACEFIRE: CHECKS AND BALANCES IN AN UNDERGROUND TUNNEL

JOHN PEACEFIRE is an acoustic guitarist and is quite unique in so many ways. He hails from the Appalachian Mountains of Pa and the Altoona, Pa area. He, definitely, walks to the beat of his own drummer and he owns his very distinctive style for playing music.

He uses various loops and pedal effects when he plays live and is quite a standout out to hear. His music will surely attract you to him. He sings about socio-political/economic turmoil and wants to bring his attention to you and others.

He considers himself an indie/folk rock artist and I consider him a diamond in the rust searching for his soul. He is a MUST to hear to play live.I'd, also, like to mention he produces his own stickers, which includes shirts, pants and shoes, which are quite unique as he is. He has also Mixed, Mastered and Produced this 8 song album as all his others.

NDAA kicks off this album as quite an interesting song as the song has a very interesting beat and melody. Listen closely as he is trying to send a message to everyone. Very interesting song.

KINGS LORDS OF XIBALBA seems like an off beat pattern as he seems to have taken a spoken word effect in the song. The stages in this song are quite interesting. Listen closely.

KINGS AND QUEENS OF OLDE is quite a long song that takes you through several levels in his own clever way of expressing himself and sending everyone a message. A very interesting song. ENFLEURAGE has a cool instrumental intro as he slowly comes in with his vocals. This song is very intriguing, to say the least.

PISCES brings this album to an end with quite an amazing guitar riff that you would never expect. I must admit, this song really brings out a side of him that more should see. Excellent song. I, also, would like to mention that that art work he did for his album was stolen when making this album. Please be on the lookout for it, he'd greatly appreciate it. You can find John Peacefire at: Bandcamp, Facebook, You tube, iHeartRadio, Deezer and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
