jfrent: ABSALOM

jfrent and the true meaning of the name is an abbreviation for J. Franklin Enterprises. Jade Wade is his real name and he has been diagnosed with PTSD since 2018, but was treated and has no symptoms. During the pandemic in 2019 he decided to form a band and produce music.

Noir Dream was his studio band and it helped him heal through love and appreciation as he grew personally. He, also, grew up in San Jose, California and traveled to SW Washington, Kelso, Woodland and now is in Toledo, Ohio.

He plays the guitar, bass and vocals on his solo work and William Wade does main vocals, drum track and guitar work on Noir Dream, Andrew Swindell on guitar and drums. jfrent has Produced, Mixed and Mastered all of the 12 songs on ABSALOM. OBTUSE kicks off this album which is quite interesting, to say the least. Listen close to the lyrics, they are sending you a message.

ABUNDANCE has a folk type feel with the intro and the melody will surely get in your head. Seems the lyrics are repeated over and over again. Enjoy and sing along. HARMONY has a hard strumming guitar as he sings throughout the song. Feel the groove. Go for it.

AIN'T SECOND has his guitar on full speed ahead and the pace of the song non-stop. The lyrics once again tell a story of love and the trials and tribulations of it. LIES has a real different beat and lyrics of how he feels about things in life. The lyrics are repeated over and over again in most of the song.

UNDERSTAND brings this album to an end with a vibrating, humming rock like guitar sound as the vocals seem to drown in the feedback. The guitar parts come through loud and clear. An interesting song, regardless. I'd like to THANK jfrent for being in touch with me. You can find him at: You tube, Deezer, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify, Boomplay and other sites. ROCK ON.
