This CD was Recorded, Mixed and Engineered by Jeff Boyer and Jeni Hackett and Mastered by George Graham. STUPID ME kicks off this CD with a very popish feel as her vocal is quite distinct. I must admit, her vocal is a 'stand out' alone, which says a lot.
BALL AND CHAIN has a great guitar intro as her voice flows right into the song. The melody is quite sweet as you listen closely to her lyrics. LOST SOULS has quite a haunting intro as it draws you into the storm and a very creative story. This is a song worth hearing. I love it.
NO SWEETER LOVE is a true love song with a superb beat and great lyrics. I love that old '60's feel it has, which is nice to hear. IN DREAMS her voice has reflections of Joan Baez/ Melanie if you listen closely. The 'hidden track' is FLAMING FIRE/A SIMPLE MELODY runs over 10 minutes long and it well worth listening to.
