INWARD PATH is a four piece progressive metal band that hails from L'viv City, Ukraine. The band is: OLEKSANDR MELNIK-Vocals VITALY YATSUK-Guitars PAVEL KORSUN-Bass and GRIGORY VELCHEV-Drums.
I have very vague information about this band, but they have sent me quite a few of their songs. The sole release album was titled, CITADEL, which has three bonus tracks on it from Labyrinth. I was sent ten songs from Oleksandr.
MISTY GATES-EDGE OF THE EDGE-is quite an amazing true metal song by them with hooks flying everywhere. I must admit, they are super tight and reminds me a bit of UFO. NAME OF THE GRAVE is off the MISTY GATES EP, too and this one has amazing intro and guitar work that would blow your away. I'm super impressed.
AFTER BEGINNING is off their album with a laid back feel that reminds me a bit of Budgie which is great. I like how the band goes off in a directions as they are as tight as ever. HOUNDS OF DEPTH reminds me a bit of Bloodrock which their cool intro and the drums pound away at you.BLEEDING [COME TALK TO ME] says it all. The lyrics speak loud and clear for themselves.
