FRANK JUNG: HOLLYWOOD

FRANK JUNG is a four piece rock band that hails from Los Angeles, California. Their songs are about the loss of their father, growing up, teenage years and their life stories in general.

The band is founded by two brothers: Hector Bermudez-Lead vocals, guitar; Alex Bermudez-Bass; Ernesto Franco-Lead guitar and Luis Neto-Drums. This 8 song album was Produced By Alex and Hector Bermudez and Mixed and Mastered by Johnny Bell.

SHOW ME kicks off this album with some very clever guitar work and nice melody. I must admit, I love their early '70's sound they have that will have you listening very close to them. So sweet. HOLLYWOOD has some quite interesting lyrics as the music still has that same 70's feel from the psychedelic days which is great to hear.

Also, listen closely to their lyrics and the message they are sending you. MEMORIES reminds a bit of the Plimsouls with their reflections of this song. The guitar sounds so very, very familiar in this song that I'm sure you heard before. This is still a very cool song.

BRIGHTER DAYS brings this album to an end with the same 70's/80's feel in their music, but still they hold their own throughout the album. This band, definitely, needs some attention and should be heard. I must admit, I really enjoyed hearing them. You can find them at: Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Instagram, Apple Music, Facebook and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
