DINNERBELL ROAD By Jim Allford

DINNERBELL ROAD is a country rock band that hails from Pittsburgh, Pa. The band has had a few releases since they were formed in 2015. The brainchild behind the band is Cook Mckoy which he penned the song, "Play Me A Song' in 2018.

The band members are: COOK MCKOY- Guitar, vocals; CORY STEIGHNER-Guitar, vocals; ZACH
ROVITIO-Lead guitar, vocals; SCOTT HERBST-Bass, vocals and ROBERT FETTY-Drums. I must admit, you'd never expect to hear a hot country band coming out of Pittsburgh, Pa and making waves as they have been doing.

GO is a great song as the loud guitars slap you in the face as the vocals are loud and clear. Turn up the volume on this song. WALK THAT LINE has a great intro and a sweet guitar riff that reminds me a bit of the Charlie Daniels Band. The lyrics speak for themselves as you would most likely relate to them.

UP TO NO GOOD has a great, raw feel to it which is nice to hear for a change. The vocals are sweet to the ears and lyrics make a lot of sense. This song is a 'must to hear'. PLAY ME A SONG is a 4 song Debut EP that was released in 2018. The EP has 4 very memorable songs on it that are bound 'to get to you' in one way or another.

One song, YELLOW FOOTPRINTS is a tribute to the United State Marine Corp which is quite a touching song with amazing lyrics. Listen closely. RUST BELT REVIVAL is a 2019 release with 10 songs that are bound to get to you. This CD is a mixture of country rock and blues fused into one epic CD.

MR. NASHVILLE MAN kicks off this release as a song coming direct from the heart. The guitar work is a must hear in this song  and I especially, love the pure 'rawness' of it. You have to check out the rest of this CD for yourself. I promise you, you'll be wanting to hear a lot more from them. I want to give a Big Thank you to Cook McKoy for reaching out to me.
