DIAMONDS AND GUNS is a four piece classic punk rock band that hails from Stockholm, Sweden. The band have been together since 2019 and the band finally decided to use Diamonds and Guns as their name. They have released quite a few homemade albums and several videos during the Covid pandemic.
The band is: Victor Ekvall-Vocals, guitar; Pontus Rask-Guitar; Kimmy Roxx-Bass and Thomas Norstedt-Drums. Also, new at the helm is:Tomas Skogsberg who Produced, Mixed and Mastered this 5 song EP for them.
MAKING CASH FROM HEARTLESS CROOKS [Intro] kicks off this album with quite an amazing song, especially. during the intro. The song then turns into a super punk song with a great melody and lyrics. I must admit, this is one very impressive punk rock song from the very get-go. They are spot on and they have all the goods. WOW! Definitely, check this song out.
SO LONG CHICAGO is another great punk rock about being happy and sad at the same time. The melody and lyrics are a true standout. The guitar solos will really blow you away. I must admit, they would make the Sex Pistols proud. SEPTEMBER is a great dance tune that will surely get to you. The melody and lyrics once again are as strong as ever. The vocals are super strong as the band is super tight on each song. This really is a great party song, so turn it up loud. I love it.
OH' THANKS FOR FRIDAY has a great intro as the instrumental song, In The Mood kicks off and then, BAM, they have you in their grip once again. This song goes through many levels as the band shows how tight they are. The melody and lyrics are as great as ever as the guitar solos are really great to hear.
