DEVIN RUSSIAN is a solo musician that hails from Sharpsburg, Pa which is on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, Pa.He has been noted as a '90 alternative rock band when he does his unplugged sessions at Open Mics.
DEVIN RUSSIAN plays a variety of instruments including Acoustic guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Organ and Programmed Drums. This 5 song E.P was Recorded, Mixed and Mastered by Canal Heights Studio and Very Tight Recordings.
The E.P starts out with LONELY LOVE MOON SUITE is about a minute and a half of sound effects. LOVELY TREES WITH LIGHTNING SCARS, is an excellent song that has Indian type of drumming sounds throughout the song. I must admit, you could get hooked on this song by listening to it over and over again. There is alot going on in this song but it fits together great.
LUNA brings a whole new side of Devin and his music. The song reminds a bit of The Moody Blues with the way it is sorted out. Check this one out. LAST VAMPIRE IN STARLITE is a song dedicated to the Starlite Lounge in Blawnox, Pa in which he hosts Open Mic every Wednesday. I must admit, I found this E.P. quite enjoyable because it's far from the run of the mill sound and vibes you hear everyday.
