I DON'T LIVE THERE ANYMORE kicks off this album with a raw guitar sound as his vocals are truly a standout. I love the simple melody and lyrics to this song, which makes it a real gem right from the start. I love it. HOLD ON AND DON'T LET GO has a country type feel as the melody and lyrics will surely get in your head. You'll be swaying away to this song. Check it out.
CHANGE takes a whole new vibe to his songs. You can tell he's singing this song from his heart to you. The melody and lyrics state it all. Now, kiss and make up! TEACH NO LIES has a bit of a funky, soulful feel as it reminds of a song, C,S, N & Y might be playing. The guitar playing sure has that feel to it. Epic song.
GET LOST has a straightforward backbeat that is right on the money. The melody and lyrics will grab ahold of you on this song. Play it loud. So sweet. LONESOME SKY brings this album to an end as he sings it so soulfully and from his heart. Close your eyes and let him take you to la la land. Great song to end an album. I'd like to THANK ADAM DAWSON for being in touch. Be on the lookout for this artist. You can find Dean at: Deezer, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify, You tube and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
