DEAN FRIEDMAN should be a familiar name to everyone. He was born and raised in Paramus, New Jersey. He plays piano, keyboards, guitar,. harmonica and various other instruments.
In 1997 he had his one hit wonder, Ariel, and it reached 24 on the Billboard charts. He. also, has his own label which is Real Life Records. Dean wrote, arranged and produced this 12 song 2021 release.
AMERICAN LULLABY starts off this CD and it is all about crazy, insane things that are happening in America and around the world. Which I must say, there's more than enough of it. His lyrics will tell you so. The melody is sweet and his words will hold you close.
HALFWAY NORMAL WORLD is about just doing some 'normal' things like going to the movies, going out to eat, seeing a ball game and wanting to go back to when the world was a decent place to live.
THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING seems to be a pretty accurate statement of what is happening and dealing with all the issues there is with them. WELCOME TO STUPID TOWN has a great intro about a person missing his stop to get off the train and and now he's stuck in Stupid Town. I'm quite sure there are many towns like this.
WEAR A MASK has an intro by Dr. Fauci, which I'm sure many of you will love to hear. I love the vaudeville jingle type song it is. Watch out for that cough.
JUST ANOTHER BIRTHDAY is a replacement for the 125 year old "Happy Birthday" by the Hill Sisters and this rendition is epic, to say the least. Also, Dean will be doing a 40 city live tour starting in April of 2022.
