CITIZEN BARE is a five piece band that hails from northern Vermont. The band has released several EP's over the years and their music stands out on its own.

The band has been Mixed, Mastered and Produced by John Gatton and Robot Dog and Jer Coons. Since this band, also, goes under the name, The Owl Stars, I'm going to review songs from various EP's they released.
CARNIVAL kicks off this review with a cool song and a great intro that you'll just love. The Carnival sound is real as the band kicks in with a great melody that is quite 'bouncy' and lyrics. I love it.
IMAGINING EVERYTHING has a Peter, Paul and Mary kind of feel with a dose of electric to the sound. The lyrics once again are super strong as the melody can get in your head and hang there for a while. So sweet.
FIRST TIME is a sweet acoustic song that has some of the best lyrics I heard in a long time. This song is a great foot tapper that will have you clapping and dancing to the epic lyrics and melody.
PASSING THROUGH reminds me a bit of Cat Stevens the way the song is sung and it has all the reflections of him. The song is quite superb and outstanding with the melody and lyrics. A true gem.
LONG STRANGE TRIP has super lyrics as they tell their story as each of us have a story to tell about our life and the trip and journey we all have been on. Great song.
