CARINA VALDES AKA ACARI is based out of San Jose, Calif and she has released her very first E.P. She describes her music as emo, dark and alternative pop rock and R & B. She hopes that her style of music will reach everyone out there and reach you as an escape.

PARANOID kicks off this CD which has a great intro and beat. The music sounds great as her vocals do stand out and will have you wanting you to hear more of her. I must admit, she does sound excellent.
DISTANT brings a different tone to her music as the beat is straight on and solid as her voice sounds excellent as she sings between the beats. This song is quite sweet. I must admit, I like it. Check it out. NO RULES is a true rap song that will get you as the lyrics stand out on their own.
