CARBONSTONE is a metal alternative band that hails from Baltimore, Maryland. They have been Nominated for Best Metal Band this year at the Maryland Music Awards. They have shared the stage with bands like: Cold, Drowning Pool, Saliva, Priest and other name bands.
The members are: Cory James-Vocals, guitars; Steve Junkins-Guitars; Tony Correlli- Synths, production ; Eric Dee-Bass; Ted Hile-Drums, programming and "Frankie" Nightmare hype bear. This 12 song album was Produced and Mixed by Tony Correlli and Produced/Engineered at Deep End Studio's.
LACERATION kicks off this album with a cool, short instrumental intro that will definitely draw you in. A.M.TRAUMA is a super cool song with a solid beat throughout the song as the vocals can crawl into your head and stay there. Also, that non-stop beat will have you dancing all through the song. WOW! PHANTOMS has a bit of a haunting intro with a nice slow beat and is great.
I must admit, it has a bit of Linkin Park type of feel at some points. This is a MUST song to hear. This song has all the goods. Check it out. ANYWAY takes the band to another level as the melody and lyrics flow along perfectly as it takes you into a trance. I love this song. So, so sweet.
DARK MATTER is another great song by this band as you can hear the vocals loud and clear. The melody once again is super strong as the lyrics just flow along. So cool. VERTIGO is pure metal hard rock to a "T" as it flows along with a perfect beat as the melody and lyrics will have you floating away on this song. Enjoy the ride.
HEAL brings an end to this amazing album. This song is totally flawless as per every song on this album. This is no doubt this band will blow you away. Look out.
