BRETT TALLEY hails from Philadelphia, Pa and played lead guitar in well noted bands such as OUTSET, IKE and THE CAULFIELDS. He decided to go solo and release a few CD's of his own. The 14 song CD was produced by Brett Talley and Jason Miraglia, plus, mixed and recorded by Brett Talley. One song, Old School Girl was co-produced by John Faye. I admit, I hear from favors of The American Dream within the song. SECRET is quite memorizing in a hypnotizing way as the guitar circles around your head. The lyrics are quite amazing if you listen close. This is a must to hear. BUZZING is a very bubbly song with a great tempo that will have you singing along with in no time. OLD SCHOOL GIRL is mesmerizing the old school days and the dreams of we once had. This song is a true classic. VALENTINE intro to the song reminds a bit of the Plimsouls and the melody is very catchy as the vocals come in stronger than ever. This song will be in your head for a long, long time and that says a lot. AS PLANES FLY BY has a dose of The Byrds and The Turtles touch with the guitar riff which is great to hear.There is no doubt, this song is quite a highlight. NANTON DRIVE brings this CD to an end and it couldn't end it any better. The mellow touch is so nice to hear and vocals remind me of R.E.O. SPEEDWAY and they carry you away to a great place.
