BLUESUEDEGROOVE: A HAND AND TWO FEET

BLUESEUDEGROOVE is quite a legendary band that hails from State College that has been defunct for years. The band members were: STEPHEN BENTZ: Guitar, vocals; NATHAN WALKER-Guitar, vocals;  ARTIN ARMANI-Bass, vocals; JASON SPIEWAK-Piano, keyboard, vocals and RICK SMALLEY-Drums, percussion.

This 12 song CD was Produced and Engineered by Rob Klotz and  Recorded in 1998 at Ark Studio, Tyrone. Pa. BLAME starts off this CD with a sweet country jam flair that would make the Grateful Dead proud. This melody and lyrics work well together as the band is tight as ever.

SIMPLE THOUGHTS is an epic song with some amazing pickin' and singin' and a melody that will stay with you for days. The true hippies will love this song to no end.

TAINT is a sweet jam song that will get your attention fast. The harmonies are as tight as ever as the band jams away with some amazing solo's from everyone. Crank it up.

BEER TO DROWN is a comical short song that stoners sure will love as the lyrics. I suppose you can say this song is for all ages. You definitely, have to hear this song. SHRIMP AND FUNGUS has a reggae favor to it with a Santana sound guitar that will get you. The two guitars work in harmony in this song which is a real treat. The keyboard solo has a jazzy flavor that is quite sweet. I love this one.

DOES IT HURT? has a nice Allman Brothers favor with the double lead guitars playing note to note in harmony. This is a great jam song and a real treat to the ears. You can find the band at: Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Facebook, YouTube, Myspace and IHeart. Please check them out. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [www.steelnotesmagazine.com]
