BLANK STARES is a four piece grunge rock band that hails from Catasauqua, Pa. They are making their first debut in this 6 song EP. The band members are: DAVE ABRNUZZI-Guitar, vocals; CHRIS NAVATIER-Guitar, vocals; DAVE CLAUSS-Bass,harmonies and MIKE MOKRIS-Drums.
The band Produced this EP and was Recorded, Mixed and Mastered by Dave Abruzzi. LUCKY kicks off the EP with a solid pounding drum and a fuzztone guitar. The vocals are to be desired, but you can get the jest of the song. This song is quite interesting to hear.
FILE UNDER SLEEP is laid back and a bit hypnotic as the vocals seem a bit off. The music itself is definitely worth listening to. You have to get a 'taste' of this band. GUT CHECK puts their fuzz tone guitar into overdrive in this song during the intro. The band suddenly mellows out as the vocals come in once again. Then the band kicks it in again as their harmonies sound a bit off key. The stages that the band goes through are pretty cool in this song. This song is worth checking out for yourself.
