BLACK RIDGE: BLACK RIDGE

BLACK RIDGE is a seven piece band that hails around the Pittsburgh, Pa area. They have been creating quite a few waves lately at the Festivals and clubs they've been playing at. Be on the watch for this band.

The band is: PAUL GUERRINI-Lead vocals; JOEY CONNER-Lead guitar; PAUL CHA-Rhythm guitar, vocals; COREY CARROZZA-Keyboards, vocals, TONY LASSICK-Saxophone, vocals; CODY LEMMON-Bass and MIKE CONRAD-Drums. Their E.P is Mixed and Produced by Matt Very.

I reviewed their music from several CD's they released. SWEAT kicks off their music which is a high energy song that has a bit of that Southern rock feel that you just can't get enough of. Check this song out.

RAW POWER is another great song that is pure rock and roll that might remind you of AC/DC a bit. Crank this song up to the max. ROCK STEADY has a funky taste as the saxophone is a stand out in this song. Just a little bit of funk from the band in their own style, quite interesting.

GOOD TIME TO GO is quite different and is a song that you would not expect from the band. Check this one for yourself. BLUE COLLAR BLUES is straight up bluesy rock and rock as always played. The lead guitar work is a real standout on this one.
NOTHING AT ALL is a sweet, laid back song that could give you chills and more. I must admit, I love this song. This song gives the band a whole new taste. Epic, to say the least. I want to thank the band for being in touch with me. You can find the band at: Facebook, You tube, Soundcloud, Spotify and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
