ANCHOR & BEAR is a four piece folk rock band that hails from Ventura, California. I believe you will be hearing a lot from this band in the very near future. Their harmonies and lyrics are a true standout in their own right.

EARTHQUAKE ON THE FOURTH OF JULY kicks on the album with a great melody that reminds of a Beach Boys song. The melody is a true classic as the lyrics flow at ease with the band. WOW! Epic intro. RED LETTER DAYS is a simple song as the melody will have you swapping away as the tempo and lyrics are so sweet.
GLAD IT'S OVER brings an all new rock taste to the band as the drum beat kicks it off and a cool guitar riff takes over. The harmonies are quite a highlight, too. I love it. SHE'S A ROBOT has an amazing melody as the lyrics are easy to get carried away in. I love this song.
I'LL GIVE YOU FIRE slows things down a bit as Katy's voice is superb to hear as the music is right on. Check this one out. Very impressive. RED LINK is a fast tempo song with a cool melody and will have you rockin' to. I truly love this band.
