53 DAYS may seem like an 'odd name' for a band, but this one will grab your attention from the very first note. The band hails from Buffalo, N.Y. and was formed in 1996. The band has been through some personal changes and has a new name: John Moore & Missing Star.

BEST LIKE YOU kicks this CD off with a sweet 'raw' sounding guitar and a very great melody and a 'distinctive' voice that will have you wanting more. Turn it up Loud.
THIS OLD CAR is laid back and definitely has a favor of The Band. There is no doubt you could close your eyes and get swept away in this song. The lyrics stating, Life's so hard is so well stated
WRONG is a real highlight on the CD. The lyrics say it all, plus, the harmonices are quite amazing in this song. Hats off to Cathy Carfagna, outstanding. This song is a MUST to hear.
ALIBI LOUNGE should really hit home with you. Listen closely to the words and there is no doubt, you probably could relate.
THESE DAYS is quite a lively song that will have you thinking about life in general. The slide guitar and harmonica is quite a treat on this song. Crank up that stereo.
