Steel Notes Magazine is saddened at the sudden loss of our long time music reviewer, Allford, and would like to pay homage to him. His loss was greatly felt,and sent shockwaves to the industry.
Jim spent many years with Steel Notes Magazine, writing countless reviews for the work of authors, and musicians. His work played an integral part of promoting music and books worldwide.
Jim lived and loved his work, and was a sought after music reviewer, who will will always be remembered for his kind words,big heart,and contribution to the arts community.
We will be keeping his column and reviews intact to continue his legacy in the industry.

Sherry Dilling, board member from Arts Altoona (PA) has offered her services to the magazine to pick up where Jim left off.
