REBECCA AADLAND has been living quite an interesting life throughout the years. She is not only a musician, but she also worked as a teacher, public speaker and psychotherapist.
She was born into a musical family, which she was the seventh out of 10 children while living in Absarokee, Montana. Since then she has relocated to Minneapolis and has made her musical mark. CARNIVAL starts off this album with a great melody and lyrics that you could surely relate to in one way or another. The storyline is great as she tells her story about the carnival. WE'LL GET THROUGH is a super laid back song as you can feel each note as her singing comes straight from the heart to you. This song flows along great. Nice. TWIST IN THE PLOT has another great storyline that is supercool as the melody and lyrics are once again very strong throughout the song. So cool. STUCK IN YESTERDAY has a simple laid back beat as her voice just flows perfectly along as the melody is quite superb.
The lyrics speak for themselves in this song. Enjoy. HAPPY COUPLE has a great jazzy bluey type feel which I just love to hear. The beat is quite simple and is one that could relate to.
