KELLEY SMITH is a true lovechild of nature and enjoyed spending her time in the woods of Minnesota growing up and watching and singing to the animals she saw.
She is, also, a very hopeless romantic that loves the simple things in life such as old sweaters and poetry. She is, truly, a down to earth soul. MOON CHILD starts off this album with some very laid back pickin' of the guitar as she sings straight from her heart to you. I must admit, her vocals remind me very much of Buffy-Sainte Marie a bit. Which is purely amazing.
MARRIAGE is another great song as her vocals stand out once again with a super great song. There is no doubt, I could easily hear Melanie singing this song as the lyrics and melody would fit her well. A great gem this song is. Check it out.
DUST has a great melody as the lyrics just flow along simple in this song. This song will make you drift away for a while to another time and another place. Just close your eyes and float away. I love it. I'LL LET GO brings this great EP to and as her guitar playing stands out in this song as she strums along so easily throughout the song.
