LAURIE KAYE: CONFESSIONS OF A ROCK ‘N’ ROLL NAME-DROPPER- “MY LIFE LEADING UP TO JOHN LENNON’S LAST INTERVIEW” BOOK REVIEW BY JIM ALLFORD

PLEASE bear with me. I never wrote a story on someone's "Autobiography' in which she wrote the story about herself. This 218 page 'Autobiography' will simply "blow you away from beginning to end". Laurie Kaye is truly a true gem in the music business and more.

She is a writer/producer that made her own waves in the music business. Laurie's life in the music business was a true roller coaster from traveling from State to State and even different countries. I must admit, once you start reading this book, it is very hard to set down as her adventures are endless and intriguing at the same time.

Her world is all music and meeting many 'name' people in the music business and having all the right connections, which she seems to 'flow' into easily. Her interviews with all the big name music stars are amazing which is more than a pro at it. She knows how to ask the right questions and how to present them to each rock star she ever met.

There are so, so many names in the novel that she interviewed, I wouldn't even know where to start. What is also very cool about this book is that each of her titles in the book have a meaning and tells what happened to her. Basically, a preview of what she is telling you before you even start reading it , a real true hint.

She is, especially, noted for writing, co-producing and interviewing the world's most famous rock stars in long form radio station specials and the 14 hour RKO PRESENTS THE BEATLES. I'd also like to mention that she had interviewed JOHN LENNON a few hours before his death.

That fateful day she spent at The Dakota she was harassed by a person that was asking her questions about John Lennon. The sad thing is we all know who that person turned out to be. She had interviewed all the Beatles and more throughout this book which will totally stun you and more.

I must admit, there are times I can relate to some of her stories as she tells them as she was growing up. Also, you'll be very "starstruck" once you start reading this amazing book. There is no doubt she might relate to some of your happenings in your life as she tells about her broken ankle and more.

All I can say, buy this book by all means, if you're a true music head and love hearing true stories about some of your most famous rock stars on this earth. I'd like to THANK LAURIE KAYE for Introducing me to her amazing book. She is truly one amazing journalist and more.
