HONEY, WHAT'S IT'S GONNA BE kicks off this album and some real down home hoedown music straight from the backwoods. Let's get the party started on the front porch. I love it. HARRISBURG BLUES is a great song that tells the story about the river and the sites you could see along the way. The melody and lyrics are perfect as he tells the story well. I love it.
ALL THE PIGEONS GONNA RUN TO HIM is another perfect song as the melody and lyrics have a great upbeat tempo. This song will surely get in your head. Sing along with it. OLD GROWTH is a superb song as the lyrics once again tell a great story. The melody has a bit of a familiar sound, but he owns all the superb lyrics. Sweet.
TABLE MOUNTAIN PINE tells a story about a tree that he watches as it gets older and the effects on it and how he feels about this one special tree. The lyrics are great as the melody fits this song to a "T:". CREOSOTE AND RUST has great harmonies in this song as you could sway away to this song as the lyrics are a true standout as the melody is spot on.
SMOKY TONE BLUES states it all as it a true blues song as the harmonies once again stand out on their own as the it's a truly a blues song. Come on, sing along. I love it. I'd like to THANK VAN for being in touch. Make sure you check him out. You can find him at: Facebook, You tube, Soundcloud, Spotify, Pandora and other sites.
