LIFE ON MARS have just completed their 7th album and this two man band resides in New York. The band is: Earl Kayoss-Vocals, keys, rhythm guitar and Fernando Perdomo-Lead guitar, bass, keys, drums with special guest-Matt Tecu on drums.

This 14 song album was Engineered by Fernando Perdomo and Mike Carr and Mastered by Fernando Perdomo. CHANGE YOUR MIND kicks off this album with a sweet song that has some reflections of George Harrison's guitar playing, which is great to hear. The melody and lyrics are to be desired as you hear it.

FUX is a purely a rock and roll song with a great guitar riff that you will surely get into. The melody and lyrics are quite interesting as it fits well into the song. Check this song out.

IN MY BLOOD is a loud and proud rock and roll song which reminds me a bit of Helter Skelter off the Beatles White album. I must admit, the lead guitar work will blow you away. Crank it up loud and enjoy the ride.

ENNIFER YOUR LIGHT IS SO BRIGHT is a laid back song with a sweet melody and nice lyrics. The title is repeated in this song, but they do get their message across. Very interesting.

MAGNET FOR PSYCHOS has a laid back intro that grows into a true loud rock and roll song with a punkish feel. The melody and lyrics are a must to hear in this one and they will really give you a ride in this song. Definitely, worth checking out.

SHE BELONGS TO THE STARS once again has an amazing Beatles feel to the song as the melody might sound familiar to you. The guitar work once again is quite a standout which really grows on you. Listen close to the lyrics.

VOODOO GIRL brings this album to an end with more very strong lead guitar work. This song is truly a rock and rock that could get in your head and will have you rockin'. I must admit, throughout this whole the lead guitar will blow you away. WOW! Let it rip/ I'd like to THANK EARL for being in touch. You can find the band on Bandcamp, Deezer, Spotify, Pandora, You tube and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALLFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
