JT WISE BAND

JT WISE BAND is a husband and wife musical team that hails from the Pacific Northwest. JT has several guitar hero's which stand out for the way he plays his guitar. His wife, Maggie, is the bass player in the band. When they play out they are usually joined by guitarist Mike George and drummer Ken Woodside.

They have performed at several music festivals in the Portland and Vancouver area for quite some time, and they have released a 9 song LP and various other songs over the years. They have Mixed, Mastered and Produced their own music in their home studio.

I'll start off with BLACK VALLEY RAILROAD that reminds me a lot of the song, Black Velvet by Alannah Myles. I must admit, Maggie's voice sure sounds alot like her and the guitar playing is right on the spot. The melody and lyrics are right on the spot. I love it.

LAY DOWN YOUR BURDEN has a sweet country bluesy type feel as Maggie once again takes over as lead vocalist. The harmonices are great to hear in parts of this song. Sweet song. MR. C'S BOOTS is another great song as the melody and lyrics are superb in this song. The groove is right on the money as the song flows along with a sweet beat. Cool song.

TROUBLESOME has a Dolly Parton type of feel in the song which has a great country type of feel. The band is great on this song as the melody and lyrics really stand out on this song. I, also, like the Allman Bros type of guitar work in this song. WOW! Is all I can say. REVEL [Acoustic Version] is great on this song as the harmonies just flow along easily in the song.

Also, check out the guitar work in this song once again. Very, very impressive. I GOT IT COMING brings this album to an end as the lead guitar throughout this song will blow you away as this blues song will surely give you the chills and then some. SVR would be proud to hear this song, no doubt. I love it. I'd like to THANK JT for being in touch. You can find the band at: Reverbnation, Soundcloud, Deezer, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify and other sites. ROCK ON, JIM ALFORD [STEEL NOTES MAGAZINE.]
