MADDY WALSH & THE BLIND SPOTS is a five piece band that hails from Ithaca, N.Y. This band is surely making themselves quite a name on the festival circuit. The band stands alone as far as their sound and the amazing vocals of Maddy Walsh.

HUMANMADE THING kicks off this album with a laid back song in which Maddy's vocals are truly a standout throughout the song. The song has quite an interesting melody and beat. Listen close to the lyrics close as her vocals draw you in for more. WOW! Is all I can say.
WE ARE ELEPHANTS once again has a very outstanding melody and beat that you usually don't hear. The band is right on the spot as they weave in between Maddy's vocals, yet it all fits together amazingly well. Definitely, check them out.
FORGIVENESS brings another taste to the band as the song is laid back quite a bit as Maddy's vocals weave back and forth in this song, which has a bit of laid back feel. Just close your eyes and float away with the song. What a very unique song. So, so sweet. LOOK UP brings an end to this amazing band. The song once again stands out on its own. The melody and lyrics on this song are super strong and are bound to get into your head.
I must admit, some of her songs have the reflections of Melanie, but she still stands out on her own. This band is definitely worth checking out, by all means.
