YAM YAM is a five piece brass band that hails from Harrisburg, Pa was formed in 2015. The band really has a jazzy taste to them , which is quite nice to hear and great change of music to hear. The band was rated #17 on the Billboard Jazz Albums and that says quite a lot.

HAIRCUT kicks off this CD with some superfine jazz playing that reminds me a lot of The Brecker Brothers Band/ Average White Band and that says a lot. Is there a little of 'Cut The Cake' in there? WOW! I truly love this. WASTED has some great vocals incorporated in this blues, jazzy song that is really great to hear.
The melody and lyrics are right on the money as the band's playing will just blow you away. There is no doubt, this band is super hot and more.'94 once again has a supergroove beat that just flows away. This one is superfunky as the band is as tight as ever. Crank it up and get up and dance to this song. WOW! This is so damn funky, making Earth, Wind and Fire proud.
LOCAL ON THE '8's features Michael Burton on trumpet on this song which still has the funky groove, which the band is a pro at playing. I love how each band member has their own solo in the song, as they all stand out on their own. Epic song, to say the least.
CHUCK DYNASTY brings this amazing album to an end with is once again a super jazzy instrumental song that flows along perfectly. Once you get one taste of this band, you'll be wanting more.
